How are the Children?

KIDS COUNT

It is with question in mind that the NDAAP would like to share information on this subject.  The North Dakota KIDS COUNT is an excellent source of relevant data about how the children and families in our state are doing.  Visit them at http://www.ndkidscount.org/.
North Dakota Kids Count is part of Kids Count, a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children.  Their mission is to provide accurate, current data on child well-being in order to inform local and state discussions about how to secure better futures for all of North Dakota’s children.

The Statewide Profile of Child Well-Being produced by the North Dakota KIDS COUNT program provides an up-to-date, comprehensive review of child well-being in North Dakota at the state level of geography.   The purpose of the profile is to expand upon the annual North Dakota KIDS COUNT Fact Book, a publication dedicated to providing county-level data on child well-being.  Unfortunately, many indicators focusing on the health and well-being of children are not readily available at the county-level of geography.  Thus, the Statewide Profile provides an opportunity to present state-level data on a much wider variety of child-related topics – in addition to all of the indicators presented in the Fact Book. View the Statewide Profile on child well-being with an expanded list of indicators.
